Mandara Hut lies on the southeastern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, inside Kilimanjaro National Park, approximately 3–4 hours’ walk from Marangu Gate. The camp sits in a forest clearing surrounded by tall camphorwoods, moss-covered trunks, tree ferns, and thick undergrowth typical of the mountain’s montane rainforest zone.
